Day 20: What are you looking forward to most about being a mother?

I’ve pretty much parented my siblings most of my life so I’ve got that knowledge. I know she is going to be a lot of work especially her first few weeks here but I will have help from her daddy. And I know we can do it.

Day 15: How are you FEELING?
I feel pretty dang tired. And just bleh. I’ve been in a whole bunch of pain so that’s fairly suckish. But I’m also really excited. I can’t wait until my baby girl is here in my arms. I want to hold her and play with her and watch her grow! I just wanna shower her in love and affection and give her all my attention.

Plenty of reading. I’m reading everything I can find. I want to be as informed as possible throughout this whole ordeal. I’ve already had a few people extend themselves to me offering any insight they can give. Hopefully I’ve gotten everything in order as far as material things go. Day 9: What sex did/do you hope for?
I wanted a boy SOOOO bad! I even dreamed of having a boy a few times. My friends were all telling me I would have a girl and I knew deep down it would be. And low and behold, at my ultrasound, the first thing the technician said was it’s a girl. But now, I wouldn’t ask for it to be any other way.

I have never once been late in my life so that was clue number 1. Then after a month I went and got a pregnancy test and voila. Positive result.

I had a uti so it’s causing gastritis pain constantly. It’s the worst pain I’ve ever experienced in my life. I’d rather have to deal with the contractions. It just gets gradually worse and worse until I’m forced to vomit because for whatever reason, that’s how my body deals with pain. I dreamed of you again last night.
You were so beautiful! And so fair skinned. Guess you took after your dad in that dream. You had this long, jet black hair and the prettiest smile I’ve ever seen. I was playing with you outside.
